So, Paul Ince has supposedly been spotted in Portugal has he? This could be true, as apparently he has requested the club change their pre-season plans. Mark Hughes had arranged to play a 3 team tournament on the Algarve 25-26 Jul with Benfica & Sporting Lisbon respectively, and a training camp in Austria/Southern Germany from Sun 13 beforehand, with a couple of games thrown in.

Look how the results improved once Bowen came in – didn’t Hughes’s first few games luck out? Same for Eddie Niz; he was the one with the tactics, the plays, the sheets of paper, the subs.
